Enjoying a highly successful concurrent career as an academic, he is the son of an artist and undertook his own artistic training through ‘experimentation, practice and reading’. He is an elected member of a number of the principal societies at the Mall Galleries and is a prolific prize winner at their annual exhibitions. He shows commercially throughout the country and has published a number of instructive articles for the Artist magazine.
