Bertram Priestman RA (1868-1951): Paintings from a Private Collection

A Yorkshireman born and bred, Bertram Priestman was a very modern artist at the end of the 19th Century, joining the young Turks of the day he grew into one of the best known landscape and portrait painters of the early 20th Century. An inspirational teacher he greatly influenced the work of his best known pupil, Edward Seago. We are delighted to be able to offer this small private collection of his atmospheric plein air paintings – unseen on the market for forty years.
