Anastasia is an American born British artist specialising in portrait and figure painting. Having trained at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the Florence Academy of Art, she now lives and works in London. She has exhibited widely at the public institutions and has been selected for the BP Portrait Award on five occasions. She is a regular exhibitor at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters where she is an elected member and a past winner of the Ondaatje Prize for Portraiture. Her work has been included in numerous exhibitions in both London and the United States. Her portraits have been featured in the Royal Society of Portrait Painters’ Annual Exhibition for the past two decades, winning the Ondaatje Prize for Portraiture, 2009. Pollard’s work has been included in the BP Portrait Award Exhibition in 2006, 2007 and 2008, 2012 and 2017.
