About Jane Corsellis

Whilst studying at the Byam Shaw she was awarded the Leverhulme Scholarship and the final year Painting Prize, exhibiting at the Young Contemporaries Exhibition and at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition before graduating in 1962. On leaving she painted for a year in Spain before returning to tech for two years. From 1972 she travelled the world, living in Hong Kong, Ottawa and finally Kuala Lumpur, using the latter as a base to visit and paint in India, Thailand, Bali and Australia. She has exhibited throughout and her work has been in great demand from commercial galleries. Jane has been a member of the New English Art Club for almost 50 years and a member of the Royal Watercolour Society since 1985. She was a member of the Royal Cambrian Academy and the Royal West of England Academy. Her painting books have been published by David & Charles in London and Watson Guptill in New York.
