Curlew Call
Oona’s paintings will be familiar to our clients as a regular contributor to our annual Scottish Show. A recent move to the wilds of North Yorkshire has brought new inspiration and most of these works are the views from her hillside garden, painted during lockdown. Her wonderfully evocative preface to this catalogue captures her love of the area’s ornithology and her concern for the plight of a number of indigenous species, particularly the Curlew.
