Born in Leicestershire in 1941 and brought up in London, Nick studied at Camberwell School of Art in the sixties when Christopher Chamberlain, Dick Lee and Michael Rothenstein were amongst his tutors. After a long and successful career he has exhibited widely and has work in public and private collections worldwide. He is a member of the New English Art Club, the London Sketch Club and the Royal Society of British Artists, serving the latter as President. He contributed to the Watson-Guptill publication ̛̛Learn to paint and draw̛̛ published in 2003 and Cassell published the foundation course ̛̛Oils and Acrylics̛̛ in 2004.
