Melvyn Petterson NEAC RBA

Born in Cleethorpes in 1947, Melvyn studied at Grimsby School of Art before going on to Camberwell School of Arts & Crafts in the 1980s. A successful Printmaker he Co-founded Artichoke Print Workshop, London in 1992. He was awarded the Joseph Webb Commemorative Award in 1987 and was elected a Full Member of the Royal Society of Painters & Printmakers in 1991. He exhibits regularly at the Royal Academy Summer Shows and is an elected member of the New English Art Club, the Royal Society of British Artists and Lincolnshire Artists Society. Public collections include Leicester Municipal Galleries and the British Museum Drawings & Prints Room. He is the author of two tuition guides.
