Born at Southend-on-Sea in 1947, Linda studied at Winchester School of Art and the Royal College of Art in London, graduating in 1974. She has held over forty solo exhibitions throughout a long and active career and her work was included in ‘25 Years of British Painting 1952-1977’ at the Royal Academy of Arts, London, celebrating the Queen's Silver Jubilee. Her work hangs in many public and private collections worldwide, including those of the Royal Academy of Arts, Londo, Longleat House, Wiltshire, Sutton House, Hackney, the University of Liverpool Art Gallery, the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth, the Sainsbury Collection and the collection of Queen Fabiola of Belgium. Linda is currently the President of The Small Paintings Group.
