Judith studied Fine Art at Maidstone College of Art in Kent where was awarded the David Murray Scholarship for landscape painting. After graduation she taught drawing and painting in Berkshire before returning to Kent in 1998 to paint full time. She is a regular exhibitor at Royal Society of British Artists, New English Art Club and the Small Paintings Group, she is an elected member of all three. She has won numerous awards including the UBS Award, the de Laszlo Medal and the Fabrica Prize, all at the RBA. She was awarded the Christies Prize at the New English Art Club.
