About Jonny Hannah

Jonny Hannah was born in Dunfermline and studied illustration at Liverpool Art School before going on to study at the Royal College of Art.

Since then, Jonny has gone on to become a successful commercial designer & illustrator. Jonny’s vibrant designs and witty handmade type have been used by countless high-profile clients including The Daily Telegraph, The New York Times, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Vogue magazine and Glastonbury Festival.

Jonny is also a keen printmaker and creates wonderful screen-printed books, posters and prints for his own Cakes & Ale Press. Greatly inspired by music, in particular Jazz, Jonny often incorporates his musical influences, such as Hank Williams, into his artwork.
