Born in London of French-Scottish extraction, Caroline graduated from Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh University in 1970. Throughout a long and varied career in fine art she has painted continuously while occasionally working as a book illustrator, printmaker and muralist. She has , been an occasional visiting tutor at the University of East London and written for a variety of art publications, co-authoring a book on the History and Art of Frames. Her work has hung in the Hunting Competitions at the Royal College of Art and the Drawings for All competition at Gainsborough House gallery. She is a member of the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Watercolour Society. Her work hangs in numerous private and public collections including Firmdale Hotels, Archant Newspaper Group and West Deutsches Landesbank.
