Twentieth Century Painting

Following the success of last year's 'Twentieth Century Painting' exhibition Panter & Hall have decided to make this a regular annual event. One of the most exciting and innovative centuries in the development of Modern British art, the last hundred years continues to provide a rich vein for collectors at all levels.

This broad remit allows us to present the most diverse selection of tastes and styles, from the technical mastery of the Edwardian Sir John Lavery to the post war pure abstraction of Peter Haigh. It is a period that encompasses some of the best known names on the market: Duncan Grant, William Lee Hankey, Paul Maze, John Piper and Edward Seago are all well presented.

We are also delighted to be able to offer a significant collection of original works by probably the most celebrated watercolourist of his day, Sir William Russell Flint.
