Since we began in 2000, and with more than 400 gallery exhibitions behind us, Panter & Hall has continued to grow apace. A success we attribute entirely to the consistent support of our regular clients and artists.

These ten distinguished artists, known as The Northern Boys, are united in their shared love of plein air painting. Though officially formed as a group in 2016, the members were already devoted outdoor oil painters who painted in Europe as well as braving the Great British elements. A growing recognition of the Northern Boys’ achievements now sees them at the forefront of British plein air painting.
Our Cecil Court gallery is home to a range of wonderful paintings from both contemporary and Modern British artists. Here are some of the works we currently have available.

Valeria is a rising star in the international contemporary painting scene. Her works define the human condition through edgy, technically superb and often witty figurative tableau - definitely one to watch!

A long awaited new collection of Tom Hoar’s fabulous plein air paintings – inspired this time by his travels along the Kenyan coast, many of our clients will recognise the bustle of Lamu and the Dhows drawn up on the beach before Peponi’s.
