Lucy Pratt (born 1970)

Lucy is one of the few truly Impressionist English painters working today. Her richly textured colourful scenes of Cornwall and London are often painted en plein air recording her direct response to each subject. Each painting is keenly observed and in her treatment of the people that inhabit her paintings Lucy hints at a wry gentle humour that is very much her own. Recent collaborations in North America have led to increased success in that market and she now has work in the Mitchell Museum, Cedarhurst Sculpture Park, Mount Vernon and various private collections worldwide.
