Sharon Okun (born 1976)

Sharon was born in Toronto, Canada in 1976. In 1996 she travelled to Florence to study Art History at Syracuse University as an exchange student. A year later she was still in Florence studying at the Charles Cecil Studio an art school modelled on the major realist ateliers of the 19th century. Sharon now paints full time from her home in the Tuscan countryside specialising in intimate figurative oils in the realist style.
