Andrew Maclaren (born 1941)

Maclaren studied at Camberwell during the latter part of the 1950s under Eyton and Uglow. He continued from 1961 at the Royal College of Art where he was awarded a first, a silver medal and an Abbey Major Scholarship to Rome. He embarked on a career in art education, eventually becoming head of the Painting department at Newcastle University.
