George Lewis

George is a modern day painter-traveller, he paints en plein air, recording his initial reactions and emotions on the diversity of the landscape and seascape. George strives to use his emotions, paintings and ideas to evoke passionate connections with the natural environment and to ask profound questions about today’s world and the issues which face humanity. Largely self taught, years of living on the rugged coast of northern Cornwall provide him with continuing artistic inspiration and training. His work can be found in numerous private and public collections worldwide.
