Dame Elisabeth Frink DBE CH RA (1930 - 1992) Born in Suffolk, Frink is perhaps the best know of British twentieth century women sculptors. Educated at Guildford and then Chelsea School of Art in the 1940s and 1950s she went on to teach at Chelsea, St Martin's and finally the Royal College over the next twenty years. She executed many public commissions on a monumental scale over a long and successful career, exhibiting internationally through her dealers the Waddington Galleries.
