John Boyd RP RGI  (born 1940 - 2001)

The late John Boyd was recently described by fellow painter, Michael Scott, as "the quiet master of contemporary Scottish painting".  John's paintings received wide recognition and many of the country's better private collections hold at least one example of his work.  He is represented in many public and corporate collections worldwide including the ubiquitous Flemings Collection. John's loss to cancer deprived the Scottish art world of one of its best loved personalities.
