One of the few Scottish painters to be truly international in reputation, John Bellany is represented in almost every major public collection worldwide. Amongst many others his work can be found in the Tate, both the Metropolitan and the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Whitworth. The pages of books, articles and documentary films covering his life and work are too numerous to list here.
