Louis Eberhard Lindholm (1917-1999)
Lindholm was a painter born in 1917 in Vollsjö, Scania; he died in 1999 in Rodes France. He studied at the Art Academy of Otte Shield, as well as in Paris. Lindholm strove for a "pure painting, resting on a spiritual basis", inspired by the Buddhist art. He painted both figurative and plane geometric paintings. His work can be found in the collections of Vasteras, Sandviken and Boras as well as represented in the National Museum in Stockholm, Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Gothenburg Museum of Art, the Museum of Sketches Lund and Ystad Art Museum.
