Born in Stockholm, Lindon was the son of a shoemaker who although studying at the local Technical school was largely self-taught as a painter. He developed a rich lyrical style that depicted everyday life in the suburbs around Stockholm. He worked on a small scale that suited the domestic intimacy of his subjects and imbued each painting with a genuine warmth that reflected his fondness for the ordinary people in his home town. He was a successful artist in his lifetime and is represented in the Museums of Stockholm, Vasteras and Jamtland. He was a member of the Swedish Artists Association and the Swedish Artists’ Organisation.
