Alistair Little - Limited Edition Prints from A Passion for Speed

11th - 27th January 2012

A series of four new limited edition prints are to be released to coincide with the launch of a new exhibition by young British artist Alistair little in collaboration with Donald Wales honouring the achievements of Donald’s grandfather Sir Malcom Campbell, his uncle Donald Campbell and the Bluebird legacy.

The show launches a collection of twenty five unique works by celebrated British figurative painter Alistair Little. Sir Malcolm Campbell's attempt to push the boundaries of speed records on land and water are the stuff off school boy legend. The remarkable and tragic film footage of his son Donald's final fatal attempt to break the water speed record on Coniston Water has reached iconic status in the nation's psyche.
More recently Donald Wales has been chasing and breaking speed records of his own and it was at his suggestion that Alistair embarked on this new series of works inspired by the achievements of his uncle Donald Campbell.
In his collaboration with Donald Wales, Alistair has been granted unique access to the family archive and has used this wonderful opportunity to apply his distinctive narrative style to one of the great stories of motor powered speed in the twentieth century.
Each print is produced to the highest production quality and signed and numbered by the artist to a limited edition of 75 only.

We have a limited number of the print, 'A Long Shadow' signed by both Don Wales and Gina Campbell, as well as the artist. All prints are available unframed at the very affordable price of £125 individually or the special launch price of £400 for the set of 4. They are also available framed for the price of £275 individually or the special launch price of £950 for the set of 4.
