After Eton and Oxford Luke Martineau studied at Heatherley's School of Art before beginning to paint professionally in the mid 1990's. He exhibits regularly at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and has shown at both the Hunting Art Prize and the Laing Landscape Competition. Luke's reputation is now well established on the London art market, he has two sell out West End one man shows to his credit and a number of high profile portrait commissions have led to a long waiting list of sitters.
